This article explores the challenges and opportunities of digital transformation in higher education, drawing insights from relevant literature and a series of interviews with experts across Latin America and Europe, which we conducted as part of the DigiUGov Capacity building project co-funded by the European Union. It addresses the complexities posed by a „VUCA“ / “BANI” world, emphasizing the need for adaptive governance, inclusive strategies, and user-centric designs to navigate technological transitions.
